What I hope it leads to is the series being taken seriously by other taste-makers. I have some very strong first-level fans, like Liz, but it still feels like the books are being hand-sold one at a time. What will make a difference is if I can get a propagation effect that spreads the interest to other venues and voices that currently aren't aware of them.

I've read quite a bit - won't tell you how far :-) - and am thoroughly enjoying the story. Knowing you are working on others makes me very happy - short stories or novels, don't care. LOVE this world!

I've been giving myself permission to read after finishing bits of my Project. Yes, a treat at the end of the day for sure!
