hrjWell, I hadn't quite expected my last post to stir up so much discussion -- I'm feeling quite gratified. (Since we all know the true test of popularity is average rate of comments per posting.) I shall have to wax philosophic more often. On various health topics, mom is still recovering steadily from the medication-induced blood clots and is getting about without mechanical assistance, back to swimming, and the like. This Sunday I'm off to SK's pre-chemo hair-cutting party.
Earlier I hinted at being involved in some "royal business" last weekend. Having allowed time for personal notifications, I'm now at liberty to mention that my apprentice xrian has been offered membership in the Order of the Laurel and will be elevated at 12th night. I'm naturally pleased and proud (and have just significantly increased my "to do" list for the rest of the year).
