Grump grump
Nov. 16th, 2006 10:48 pmI'm about ready to strangle the door salesman and send a box of candy to his receptionist. He somehow managed to be "with a customer" for about three hours this afternoon when I was trying to get information about my door delivery. Finally (probably out of exasperation with fielding all my calls) the receptionist called the delivery people herself and discovered that they planned to deliver the door on Monday. When I pointed out that I was going to be out of the state by Monday she called them back and then reported that they were going to fit me in Friday afternoon. (Well, Friday ... probably afternoon ... nothing any more specific.) Is this company really that unused to dealing with customers who have day jobs? So I have the downstairs tenant primed for directing them where to leave it (although the contractor may be here too).
I'm tired.
I'm tired.

Date: 2006-11-17 08:14 pm (UTC)I was rather effusive this morning when she called to confirm that they really truly will be brining it today. (At least she seems to have gotten the message that communication is very important to this costumer.)
