The DW/LJ thing feels oddly awkward

Having "made the move" to treating dreamwidth as my "preferred platform" over livejournal, it keeps feeling weird that LJ gets the full echo of my Alpennia.com blog, while DW gets the abbreviated link (because I have to do it manually). I rather suspect that it means people who read me through DW aren't clicking through to much of my actual content. I'm still posting lots of lovely thinky/talky blogs. Really I am. It's just that DW doesn't give me a handy automated way of echoing them here.

I would think that Alpenia (which I see is Drupal-based) would be able to cross-post to DW just as easily as to LJ -- they have the same API; the only difference is which server you use. I know some people have their blogs posting to both places.

It has already been looked into. In theory, it's just a matter of adapting the LJ crossposting module, but evidently nobody seems to have done so yet. I'm not up to creating new Drupal modules on my own (and not inclined to pay my web developers to do so) so it will have to wait on someone else wanting that functionality.
