Insufferable glow of accomplishment

hrjThe holiday cards are all stuffed and addressed and only need some more postage to go out. And ... ALL THE SHOPPING IS DONE. Well, I have at least one more SCA 12th night present to get, plus deciding what to make (bake, probably) for the general handing-around at 12th night. But all the must-be-done-before-I-leave-town shopping is done. It's astounding how cheerful this makes me feel.
Saturday was apprentice day with xrian. Much useful working on projects and chatting. I've scanned the garment information out of the Big Book of Bohemian Things and really need to notify the lucky person who will be taking it off my hands. Today was shopping, shopping, and more shopping, including a jaunt for shopping and dinner to downtown Berkeley with the downstairs tenant.
After dropping a hint in my Christmas wish list, the Elder Brother has presented me with a CD of photos from family occasions over the last decade or so. Now I'm busy cataloging them in the computer and deciding which to add to the web site.
