It is now Spring

I know this because I bicycled to work this morning in a short-sleeved shirt and no jacket and wasn't sorry for it. (A few weeks ago I biked to work in a short-sleeved shirt and no jacket but I was heartily sorry I had. It clearly wasn't Spring yet at that point.) Mind you, I was sorry I didn't have the jacket after lunch when the air conditioning kicked in (as usual) and my office turned into an ice box, but that's why I keep the emergency sweatshirt at the office.

I know it's spring because people have started to buy ice cream instead of cakes. There was a lot more to choose from at the bakery than usual for a Friday at five o'clock.
