A lawn lawn time gone
May. 29th, 2007 10:42 pmBrief review: Pirates of the Carribean #3 -- As advertised. Lots of action. Swashes buckled. Designed for those who need constant massive visual stimulation. Plot? Logical sequence? Ends tied up? Whaddaya think this is, literature?
The lawn got well and truly mowed, edged, and weed-whipped. This included picking up the last bits of leftover lumber and whatnot from the construction last December ... you know, the stuff the contractor was supposed to clean up when he was done? Not sufficiently annoying to not hire him for the rest of the misc. jobs and painting, but sufficiently that I may write into the contract that final completion of payment occurs after all cleanup is complete. I also attacked the backyard forest with pruners and after removing two green-cans full of fig limbs, one can again walk from one end of the yard to the other again without ducking. I hate that fig tree.
