Pre-holiday crud
Nov. 21st, 2005 07:22 pmLast week, when the FDA was inspecting, several people bravely dragged themselves to work despite horrendous colds to Do Their Bit For The Team. Thereby exposing all the rest of us in time for Thanksgiving travel.
Yesterday I was fine, going off to see Harry Potter #4 with S.K. followed by the requisite hash-over over dinner. (We try for thematic pairings of movie + dinner so this time dinner was at one of the several British-style pubs in the south bay.) But by the time I'd gotten home to bed I was feeling a little dragged out and woke up this morning with a fog in my head. Not actually sick, but that sense of something hovering overhead waiting for a chance to attack. So I'm planning to get to bed really early tonight and see if I can sleep it out. But since Thanksgiving involves plane travel, I suspect I won't be able to dodge the bullet entirely. *grrr*
