To-Done List

Accomplished this weekend:

* car got serviced
* bike got dropped off for tune-up
* taxes got done and e-filed
* first half of minor tent repairs accomplished
* processed veggie box into: 2 servings asparagus & green garlic soup, 2 servings broccoli soup, 2 servings mashed carrots, 4 servings carrot & fennel slaw (caught up except for a butternut squash and a bag of potatoes)
* one green-can full of the annual Major Weeding (many cans to go)

I'm not feeling entirely ready for a camping event next weekend, but I guess that's the point of having the gear permanently organized. I don't actually have to be ready, I just need to follow the packing list.

Oh wow. Permanently organized gear. What a concept!! :-> I should try that sometime!! I usually just flail around in the garage and hope I've found everything.

We haven't camped since we had the kids (now 6 and 4), but they are eager to try it. We're considering Pennsic, but we need to run through some camping events to make sure they can cope. Our basic stuff is in order, but I think I will have to make a major effort to reconnect all of the accessories - lanterns and such have been used for power outages, I don't know if I still have a stove, etc.
